Emily has been a consultant to creative professionals for over 20 years, providing experiences and objective advise on effective staff, client and process management strategies, conducting client surveys and writing winning creative briefs, proposals and contracts. She currently serves on the board of advisors of InSource, served as Secretary for the AIGA/NY Board of Directors and has taught classes and conducted seminars for many leading design schools and organizations. Emily is a frequently-requested speaker on business-related issues for the creative industry and has spoken at the HOW and InHOWse Conferences, as well as at numerous AIGA events.

NEW YORK UNIVERSITY
Consultant to the Dean (November 2002-March 2003) – Developed and launched a new Certificate of Graphic Design program for New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS). As a consultant to the dean for over six semesters, responsibilities included developing and overseeing the curriculum and hiring and supervising over 25 instructors. Held within the landmark Woolworth Building in lower Manhattan the courses were created as intensive weekend or weeklong courses.
