I've seen a recent surge in interest and hits to the Graphic Define articles and this has prompted me to let all of our readers know what is up.
New Issue
A new issue is coming up for the beginning of June with a new, fresh site design that makes it easier to navigate the articles.
Sorry for the lack of momentum. Graphic Define is a labor of love for me - I started Graphic Define as a way to share the conversation on the business of visual design with all of my colleagues but it seems that my own responsibilities as an educator, a designer, and a writer have gotten in the way of the momentum. That is about to change.
New Team
To help with the responsibility of running the site, editing articles and keeping the site thriving, we're going to be opening up the site a bit with a new redesign. You, the reader, will be able to easily contribute an article to Graphic Define, we will also have an Advisory Board of esteemed professionals in the industry that will be offering regular articles, and lastly, we'll also be creating a wiki style library of everything there is to know about the business side of our industry.
Where I've Been
You may have noticed that I haven't been speaking as much this Spring or making appearances at conferences. The main reason is that after many years of working on my own, I've opened my own web design studio called DSGN + DVLP ( http://www.dsgndvlp.com ). Its been quite a journey and a bit of a process to admit to myself that I am doing the right thing but it has been nothing but fun! I have started blogging regularly at http://chronicle.dsgndvlp.com about web design, our work, tips for the client - designer relationship, and generally starting to have an honest, no BS conversation about the world of web design.
What You Can Do
Sit back, relax, be patient, and keep your eyes posted for our new issue at the beginning of June. If you want to help us out and get involved (write articles, submit article designs, etc..) then feel free to get in touch with daniel@graphicdefine.org
Take care and all the best,

Good luck with the re-design, Dan. Looking forward to it. By the way, nice glasses.
